About Shoreline Cafe

We call in whenever we’re passing through Craster on one of our many walks along the coastal path, and it’s become one of our favourite coffee stops.

Our timing usually means we’re there for coffee and cake rather than a meal, although on our last visit the couple at the next table were tucking into a breakfast that looked very tempting!

It’s comfortable, spotlessly clean, with plenty of seating both inside and out — the outside tables being particularly lovely when the Northumberland weather behaves itself.

Most importantly, the coffee is consistently excellent — properly hot without being too hot — and there’s always a lovely selection of cakes to undo all the good work of the walk.

A regular stop for us, and one we’re always happy to return to.
