Lucy's pick for the in-between weeks when it's too warm for a coat but too cold for bare arms. The pointelle knit adds just enough interest to lift a plain roll neck, and the sage colourway sits nicely against the greens and greys of the Northumberland coast in autumn. Soft, easy to layer, and forgiving on a day full of walking.
I’d probably wear this with denim or corduroy — nothing too complicated.
A denim skirt and walking boots while it’s still mild, then jeans once autumn properly arrives. I really like it with brown corduroy too; the green and brown just seem to belong together.
It’s one of those jumpers that feels a little bit nicer than an everyday knit without looking as though you’ve tried too hard. Roll the sleeves up, pull on some boots and you’re done.
